      Squirrels

I have used a B Pencil to lightly draw the general shape.

Problems with this? See, "Using Basic Shapes" and "Teddy Bears".

There are no solid lines. Make your pen marks go in the direction that the fur grows. Here, I'm using a Rotring 0.1 mm Rapidograph Pen. Once you have completed this step, erase your pencil lines and start building the first layer of fur.

Short lines and dots are used for short hair as well as long hair that appears to be coming towards you.

Here I'm using the same pen and building more layers to create the effect of shadows and darker fur.

If you wish, you can use a slightly thicker pen.

If you are having trouble with drawing the fur and the eye, please go to the "Teddy bears" page.
